## Description

PRIMARY TASKS AND DUTIES

• Inspect, monitor and patrol assigned areas.
• Perform thorough investigation of any suspicious situations.
• Utilize sound judgment and best concepts, practices and procedures to safely resolve situations.
• Communicate verbally and/or by writing with staff members, patients, visitors, vendors, customers, and/or managers in the resolution of problems or disputes.
• Maintain accurate, thorough reporting documentation.

## Qualifications
**POSITION REQUIREMENTS**
**Experience**

• Demonstrated success in inspecting, monitoring and patrolling a facility. Prior experience in a community health care environment preferred.
• Significant knowledge of procedures and safety measures related to security.
• Demonstrated success and experience with difficult, problematic situations.
• Demonstrated success in customer service and response.

**Education**

• High school diploma.
• Advanced course work in related field preferred.
• Must have Security Officer Commission
• Must have CPR Certification

**Physical Requirements**

• Physical abilities to lift or push objects up to 50 - 80 pounds.
• Ability to regularly stand and walk for extended periods of time
