Secondary Operator

## Description

• Performs set-ups and operations of any complexity with little or no supervision including Point, Trim, Head Turn, Fillet Role of a wide variety of diameters, and angles.
• Reads blueprint and job order for product specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, number of parts to be produced.
• Installs circular form tools, set speed and feed to conform to specifications.
• Verifies dimensions and angle of product for conformance to specifications.
• Can cross train in one or more areas within Secondary Operation.
• Fill out Inspection Sheets and maintain quality standards through 3 pan other processes.
• Be proficient in the use of various types of inspection equipment (micrometers, calipers, comparator, and other misc. inspection equipment)
• Regularly submits new ideas to support continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure parts are clean of oil prior to de-chipping operation.
• Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area.
• Performs other duties as required by management.
