## Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated **Office Manager** to lead daily operations at our outpatient clinic in Newton. This role is ideal for a healthcare professional who enjoys leading teams, improving processes, and ensuring a positive experience for both patients and staff.
The Office Manager will provide hands-on leadership and oversight of clinic operations, including staff supervision, workflow coordination, patient service, compliance, and quality improvement efforts. The successful candidate will be organized, proactive, and comfortable making decisions, solving problems, and keeping daily operations running smoothly.
## What You’ll Do
- Provide leadership, supervision, coaching, and support to outpatient clinic staff
- Manage daily clinic operations to ensure efficient workflows, accuracy, and high-quality service
- Coordinate staff scheduling and coverage to support consistent operations
- Monitor operational reports related to scheduling, billing, insurance verification, and workflow performance
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and patient care
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of staff
- Serve as a resource for patient concerns and ensure timely resolution
- Maintain compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and applicable healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with leadership and other departments to improve processes and support clinic goals
- Assist with financial workflows, including patient account follow-up and collections coordination
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
## Qualifications
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Minimum of **2 years of experience working in a medical office, outpatient clinic, or healthcare setting**
- Minimum of **3 years of supervisory or leadership experience**
- Strong understanding of healthcare office operations, workflows, and patient service practices
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and hold staff accountable while fostering a positive work environment
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, work independently, and make sound decisions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality
- Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
- **Schedule:** Full-time, Monday–Friday
- **Compensation:** Competitive salaried position with pay determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
