About The Role

## Description

The Program Manager, Caregiver & Respite Services, is responsible for program development, oversight, implementation, promotion, and facilitation of caregiver programs (including Kinship caregivers) throughout the region. This position is responsible for identifying community service gaps and pursue programs and funding opportunities to address those gaps. Other responsibilities include engaging with community partners and working collaboratively with the applicable Management and leadership teams to support and enhance caregiver programs offered by AgeWays.

**Duties Include:**

  • Program Oversight of the Trualta & Caregiver Respite Programs to ensure effective and streamlined processes, program management; follow-up; compliance monitoring.
  • Develop, implement, and management of caregiver mini grants and caregiver programming to promote and support caregiver programming throughout the region.
  • Work within the agency as the subject matter expert for caregiver services. Participate in internal planning meetings, grant opportunities, and caregiver needs assessment activities to support the development and coordination of caregiver services. Identify unmet needs/programs in the community and work to fill gaps in services. Assist in the preparation of program budget and monitoring program expenses.s.
  • Participate in local, regional, and state-wide groups supporting caregiver and kinship caregiver services
  • Outreach and marketing – work in collaboration with the Communications team to promote caregiver and wellness programming.
  • Work collaboratively with management to support caregiver programming. Participate in training and facilitate caregiver workshops and educational sessions.

## Qualifications
**Minimum Requirements Include:**

  • Bachelor degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Social Work, Nursing, Health & Human Services or equivalent, Masters Preferred.
  • Must have 3-5 years of relevant experience minimum with business and community networking, Health and Human Services, working with older adults and adults with disabilities.
  • Knowledge of community-based, caregiver, and/or respite services preferred.
  • Public speaking is required with the ability to present ideas in a clear, concise manner, facilitate group discussion, and conduct training for older adult learners, staff, and the aging network providers.
  • Excellent written, oral communication, organization, critical thinking, and strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, work independently, and meet strict deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and knowledge in technology platforms, including virtual.
