Woodland Job Corps Center is seeking a dedicated **Residential Advisor** to support students in developing positive habits, independence, accountability, and life skills while creating a safe and supportive residential environment.

## 🎯 Position Summary
The Residential Advisor provides guidance, supervision, and mentorship to students living on campus. This role promotes a safe, respectful, and structured residential environment while helping students develop independence, accountability, leadership skills, and Career Success Standards.
## 🚀 Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily guidance and mentorship to students to encourage positive behavior, personal growth, and achievement of program goals.
- Supervise dormitory activities and promote a safe, respectful, and supportive living environment.
- Monitor residential areas, address concerns, and respond appropriately to student needs or behavioral issues.
- Support student development through counseling, group discussions, and independent living skills activities.
- Identify student concerns and connect students with appropriate counseling or support services.
- Assist with dorm activities, unit meetings, and student leadership initiatives.
- Maintain accurate student records, case notes, reports, and required documentation.
- Complete daily operational reports, pass lists, and administrative paperwork.
- Ensure dormitory areas remain clean, organized, and safe.
- Manage dorm supplies and request materials needed to support student living areas.
- Promote positive peer relationships and model professionalism, respect, and responsibility.
- Support and enforce Job Corps Zero Tolerance policies and program standards.
- Provide excellent customer service and collaborate with staff across the Center.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

## Qualifications
## ✅ Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with youth, young adults, residential programs, education, counseling, or social services preferred.
- Strong communication, mentoring, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to establish positive relationships while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- Reliable attendance and commitment to supporting student success.
