At Atterbury Job Corps, our Dorm Supervisors create the safe, clean, and structured living environment students need to stay engaged and succeed — while leading a team of Residential Advisors who make that happen every day.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**

  • Oversee the daily management of the dormitory, fostering a safe, clean, and structured living environment that supports student retention and success
  • Supervise and manage residential staff, including hiring, discipline, performance evaluations, and coordinating coverage for vacancies and callouts
  • Provide comprehensive, individualized case management alongside counseling staff to support student progress and program completion
  • Establish supportive, mentoring relationships with students throughout their enrollment
  • Serve as an active member of case management and success teams
  • Oversee the student dorm leadership program
  • Ensure the physical security of the dorm area and the accuracy of incident and shift reports
  • Manage department inventory, supply orders, and maintenance work orders
  • Provide required and supplemental training for new and current staff, and develop staff for career progression
  • Build community linkages that support education, employment, and Career Technical Training opportunities for students
  • Provide student transportation as needed

**WHAT YOU BRING**

  • **High School Diploma or equivalent** (required)
  • **Associate of Arts Degree** from an accredited school (preferred)
  • *Minimum* of o**ne year of Job Corps or related program experience** (required)
  • **Valid in-state driver's license** (preferred)
  • Ability to lift **40 pounds** and perform physical tasks including **standing, climbing, walking, pulling/pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping, and crouching**, or ability to assess lift load and request assistance **as needed**

## Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate of Arts Degree from an accredited school preferred. A minimum of one-year Job Corps or related program experience required. A valid in-State Driver’s License preferred.

Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and / or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
