About The Role

## Description

**Position Summary**

**Keep Our Campus Running — and Help Students Thrive.**

At Adams and Associates, a safe, clean, and well-maintained campus is the foundation that helps Job Corps students learn and grow. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a hands-on role in that mission — keeping our facility, grounds, and building systems in top shape while modeling the kind of pride, reliability, and professionalism our students aspire to.

If you take satisfaction in solving problems, working with your hands, and knowing your work makes a real difference, we'd love to have you on our team.

**Why Join Us? Make a Real Impact!**

Your work goes far beyond repairs. Every system you maintain and every problem you solve helps create a safe, welcoming environment where young adults can focus on building their futures. Job Corps is a transformative program — and you'll be an essential part of making it work every day.

**What You'll Do**

**Maintain Our Facilities & Systems**

Perform repair and preventive maintenance to the Center's facility and building systems. Conduct periodic inspections of building systems and equipment to ensure everything is working safely and efficiently, and complete assigned work orders in a timely, accurate manner.

**Oversee Quality & Resources**

Research and recommend the purchase of replacement equipment as needed. Inspect the work of other maintenance personnel, and oversee the activities and quality of outside contractors performing repairs or equipment replacement.

**Mentor & Support Students**

Mentor, monitor, and model the Career Success Standards as required by the PRH. You may oversee training activities of students assigned to the maintenance area, coordinate with the Facilities Maintenance vocational training program where applicable, and supervise Work-Based Learning students assigned to the department. Provide student transport as necessary.

**Uphold Standards & Collaborate**

Produce thorough, timely, and accurate work while maintaining strong attendance, accountability, and productivity. Communicate clearly in writing and in person, identify and resolve problems with sound judgment, and partner with staff across all departments. Accept direction from the Center Director, Duty Officer, or Shift Manager — including occasional cross-department assignments — and take on other duties as assigned.
