**JOB SUMMARY**

Under general supervision, maintains and repairs a variety of equipment including diesel engines, heavy trucks, pumping equipment, lifting equipment and other oilfield related equipment.

# **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

• Cleans, lubricates, and performs other routine maintenance work on the fleet.
• Dismantles and reassembles heavy duty engines using hoists and hand tools, as needed.
• Operates and inspects machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects.
• Overhauls and tests machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
• Examines parts for damage or excessive wear, repairing and replacing damaged or worn parts.
• Tests mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer’s specifications.
• Fabricates needed parts or items from sheet metal.
• Researches, orders, and maintains the inventory of parts for service and repairs to ensure we are Ready to Rent.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Inspect, adjust, and replace necessary units and related parts.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems.
• Fabricate and weld to repair equipment as necessary.
• Clean and maintain the work area and equipment.
• MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS (Company to provide welders, torch, grinder, and some other tools)

## Qualifications
# **QUALIFICATIONS**

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 4-5 years similar experience in service company or oilfield operating company.
• Requires strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Multi-tasking ability.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible work schedule, including long and/or irregular hours.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**

• Ability to continuously stand & walk
• Ability to sit for long periods of time
• Frequently push & pull
• Occasionally bend & stoop
• Requires repeated heavy lifting of up to 75 lbs
• Working outside in variable weather conditions to include heat, humidity, cold & wind.
