We are seeking a Clinical Applications Specialist to join our team and provide expert assessment, training, and support for nurse call and healthcare communication systems. This role is responsible for conducting needs assessments, training healthcare professionals, coordinating system configurations, and ensuring customers understand and maximize the solutions provided. Clinical Applications Specialists play a vital role in helping healthcare environments remain safe, efficient, and connected.

### **Key Responsibilities**

  • Conduct customer needs assessments and document workflows, system requirements, and facility configurations
  • Train healthcare professionals and Super Users on nurse call systems, infant abduction systems, RTLS, wireless devices, and related healthcare technologies
  • Train Lone Star Communications staff on healthcare systems as needed
  • Collaborate with programmers and service teams to ensure system configuration, downloads, and end-user testing meet customer needs

Provide customer support by addressing technical and workflow questions, escalating issues as necessary

  • Assist sales leaders with system demonstrations for prospective customersDevelop and deliver customized training materials, including digital modules, to support hospital projects
  • Prepare executive summaries, training documentation, and follow-up reports after customer visits
  • Maintain accurate project records, databases, and resource material

**Qualifications**

  • 3+ years of customer-facing experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of hospital and clinical workflows
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint required; MS Office 2010 preferred)
  • Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

**Education Requirements**

  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years of office-related experience=
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent preferred

**Skills**

  • Strong communication skills, with confidence in presenting to individuals and large groups
  • Excellent writing, grammar, and documentation abilities
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a positive, solution-focused mindset
  • Ability to think quickly, adapt, and recall information effectively
  • Curiosity and confidence with technology, with a commitment to continuous learning
  • Ability to learn in both formal classroom settings and through self-directed study
