Warehouse Shipping/Receiving Worker with Forklift Required

We have an immediate opening for a **Truck Loader / Unloader** in our main warehouse. Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, you will move shipments of products within the warehouse and load or unload trucks for delivery. This is a physically demanding job, so you must be able to stand, squat, and bend for long periods, as well as lift up to 50 pounds.

This position also requires the safe operation of a **forklift** to move, stage, load, and unload materials. **Previous forklift experience is required, and forklift certification is required or must be obtained within a specified training period.** We provide on-the-job training for warehouse procedures and product handling.

**Essential Functions and Responsibilities**

• Move pallets using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts
• Operate a forklift to transport, stage, load, and unload materials
• Load and unload trucks efficiently without damaging products
• Safely stack and secure building materials for storage or transport
• Review each load or delivery and document properly when loading or unloading is complete
• Follow all safety procedures and report any safety concerns
• Perform daily forklift safety checks and maintain equipment as required
• Other duties as assigned

## Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
• Previous forklift experience required. At least 2 years
• Forklift certification required or must be obtained within a specified training period
• Ability to stand, squat, and bend for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Reliable transportation
