**About the Mobile Crisis Response Services Program**
ReDiscover’s Mobile Crisis Response Services work in close partnership with local law enforcement and CommCARE to deliver real-time, on-site crisis intervention. Our mission is to support individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis—whether they've had police contact or reached out through national or local crisis lines—by meeting them where they are, both physically and emotionally. As a Mobile Crisis Responder, you’ll help reduce unnecessary emergency room visits and incarceration by connecting people to the right resources at the right time.
**What You’ll Do**
- Respond in person within one hour or less to behavioral health crisis calls, using a company vehicle when available or a personal vehicle if needed.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments that include suicide risk evaluations, crisis intervention, and recommendations for the appropriate level of care.
- Provide follow-up support through service linkage, ongoing monitoring, and crisis management to ensure continuity of care.
- Offer consultation and information to internal teams and referral sources to facilitate access to services.
- Collaborate with ReDiscover teams and community partners to develop intervention plans that address and advocate for the individual’s needs.
- Work closely with other providers to implement and review crisis intervention strategies.
- Accurately document client interactions and maintain records in ReDiscover’s electronic medical record system.
**Requirements of the Position**
- At minimum, a bachelor’s degree in a Social Science Field from an accredited college or university is required. Master’s Degree Preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a reliable vehicle available for use during work hours is required.
- Ability to work a set schedule of Monday - Friday from 10:00 am – 6:30 pm.
- Familiarity with mental illness and substance use disorders.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Comfort with electronic health records and intermediate computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and email).
