**About the Mobile Crisis Response Services Program**

ReDiscover’s Mobile Crisis Response Services work in close partnership with local law enforcement and CommCARE to deliver real-time, on-site crisis intervention. Our mission is to support individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis—whether they've had police contact or reached out through national or local crisis lines—by meeting them where they are, both physically and emotionally. As a Mobile Crisis Responder, you’ll help reduce unnecessary emergency room visits and incarceration by connecting people to the right resources at the right time.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments that include suicide risk evaluations, crisis intervention, and recommendations for the appropriate level of care.
  • Provide follow-up support through service linkage, ongoing monitoring, and crisis management to ensure continuity of care.
  • Offer consultation and information to internal teams and referral sources to facilitate access to services.
  • Collaborate with ReDiscover teams and community partners to develop intervention plans that address and advocate for the individual’s needs.
  • Work closely with other providers to implement and review crisis intervention strategies.
  • Accurately document client interactions and maintain records in ReDiscover’s electronic medical record system.

  • Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a reliable vehicle available for use during work hours is required.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with mental illness and substance use disorders.

  • Mobile Crisis operates seven (7) days per week; candidates must be available to work rotating weekends and holidays as needed.
