The bilingual teller creates a remarkable experience consistent with our brand personality, core values, service promises, mission, and vision with all internal and external relationships. Perform a wide range of transactions to serve members by receiving or paying out funds with high accuracy. Maintain accurate transactional records. Provide a variety of member savings, share draft/checking, and credit account transactions. Make referrals to the appropriate credit union department or team member with the intention of increasing member loyalty.

## Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of language and cultural differences amongst Spanish-speaking countries
  • 1 year in a customer service capacity which included cash handling experience, preferably in a credit union, bank, or other financial institution

  • Credit union products, services, and policies

Ability to

  • Operate a personal computer and associated windows-based software
  • Operate standard office equipment such as fax, copy and 10-key adding machines
  • Provide service to all members in the lobby in a timely manner
  • Perform minor math calculations
  • Organize time and duties effectively
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with members and the public
  • Work independently and quickly
  • Pay attention to details, be proficient and accurate
  • Be flexible and handle more than one task at a time
  • Handle cash accurately
  • Cross sell in order to achieve established goals
