The Center at Centennial is looking to hire PTAs now!
**Shift Availability:** Full-time or PRN days
**Pay:**Full-time $32-36 hour; PRN $35-38/hour
**Job Description:** Provide physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist in accordance with applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines, regulations to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be maintained at all times.
**Job Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Observe patients before, during and after therapy, noting their status and reporting to a physical therapist
- Assist in developing, implementing and coordinating patient care plans for individual patients in coordination and conjunction with the patients assessment
- Brief patient of procedures involved in physical therapy and prepare necessary equipment-reassure patient before and during therapy treatment
- Focus on providing the highest quality treatment for patients that allows for excellent patient outcomes
- Recommend modifications of changes in the patient’s therapy program based on evaluation of progress
- Ensure that all therapy notes are informative, descriptive and follow Company’s policy and procedures

## Qualifications
**Education, licensure, certifications, and experience:**
- Must possess a current and valid PTA license.
- Must possess a current and valid CPR certification.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
- 1 years’ experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
**Other Job Requirements:**
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Must possess the ability to tactfully work with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
- Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
- Must be knowledgeable of HIPAA compliance and requirements, and have the ability to maintain highly confidential information.
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of other individuals in the workplace.
