## Description

We are seeking a compassionate Early Childhood Assistant Teacher who is passionate about supporting children’s development while sharing faith, love, and values each day.

The Assistant Teacher supports the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. This role helps implement daily activities, supervises children, and promotes their social, emotional, and developmental growth.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Assist the Lead Teacher with lesson plans and classroom activities
• Supervise children during play, meals, and rest times
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
• Support children’s social and emotional development
• Observe and report children’s progress and behavior
• Prepare materials and set up learning centers
• Communicate respectfully with children, staff, and families
• Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations

## Qualifications
**Qualifications:**

• High school diploma or equivalent (CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred)
• Experience working with young children is a plus
• Basic understanding of child development
