About The Role
## Description
Laurel Parc, a beautiful senior living community just north of the Beaverton-Hillsboro area seeks a Move-in-Coordinator to join our Marketing team! The Move-in Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and coordinating the move-in process for residents within the community, ensuring a welcoming and inviting experience, while also providing general support to leadership including planning, auditing and quality assurance initiatives.
**Pay: $24.50- $25.00**
**Schedule: Sunday-Thursday**
**Main Responsibilities:**
- Assists residents and their families with a smooth and positive move-in process, answering questions and ensuring proper amenities and services.
- Serves as a liaison to Independent Living residents and the overall community.
- Coordinates move-in orientation with residents and families to ensure each resident is knowledgeable on community lay-out, emergency procedures and the resident handbook.
- Helps ensure the ultimate resident experience by effectively listening to and welcoming residents and their families, relaying any concerns to the Director of Marketing.
- Assists Directors with various tasks and projects, helping to ensure initiatives stay on track, remain organized and goals are met.
**Additional Job Duties:**
- Acts as point person for residents and effectively implements Transitions Program for all new move-ins.
- Helps ensure apartments have been inspected and in excellent condition prior to new residents moving in.
- Ensures all new move-ins meet with Resident Welcome Committee and that committee is continually participating in the move in process.
- Works closely with the Director of Marketing and Executive Director to efficiently resolve complaints.
- Completes weekly meet-and-greet events for current and newly moved-in residents.
- Assures resident directory is updated with each move-in and move-out.
- Returns resident calls and follows up to ensure needs are quickly met.
- Reviews Rental Agreements with residents and/or family. Ensures all move in paperwork is complete, signed and turned in to Business Office in a timely manner.
- Backs up marketing team by, for example, assisting with inquiries and tours.
- Participates in on-going meetings and trainings with residents; such as monthly floor representative meeting and weekly transition meeting.
- Plans and coordinates events; such as monthly new resident’s dinner, flu clinics and presentations by outside vendors.
- Notifies family members of any concerns with their loved ones in Independent Living.
- Supports various leadership positions and departments in regard to new and ongoing projects and initiatives.
- Acts as liaison between residents and families for the E.D. while providing excellent service to residents, families and answering necessary questions.
- Drafts necessary correspondences like agendas, memorandums, minutes, and other documents including those of a confidential nature while keeping leadership apprised of necessary information.
- Helps maintain necessary calendars and schedule a variety of meetings, events and activities, while participating in them as needed.
- Assists in enforcing various policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
- Helps ensure office and resident areas are organized and mail is properly distributed and addressed.
- Displays excellent communication including the ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
- Supports special projects and conducts research as needed.
**Qualifications:**
- Ability to work occasional weekends as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year previous experience in marketing or senior living.
- Professional in appearance and demeanor
- Highly organized and pays great attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Outstanding customer service, attitude and demeanor
## Qualifications
**Language Requirement**
All team members must have the basic ability to use computer/smart phone applications for training and company system purposes. Employees must also be able to comprehend written documents such as work orders, safety rules, instructions, policies, and procedures. Also required is the ability of employees to speak and communicate effectively with clients, coworkers and management.
