**Location: Palm Beach**
**Position:** EMT

• Full time
• *Part Time available, requirements 1 shift per week.*

• **Shift:** *12hr and 24hr shifts available*
• **Starting Salary Range for Full Time:**$45,968.00 - $56,576.00 per year

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls and provide medical assistance to patients in need
• Assess the patient's condition and administer appropriate medical treatment
• Perform basic life support techniques, such as CPR and first aid
• Monitor vital signs and provide ongoing care during transportation to the hospital
• Communicate with healthcare professionals to relay patient information and receive medical instructions
• Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment provided

Experience

• Previous experience as an Emergency Medical Technician or similar role preferred
• Knowledge of hospital procedures and protocols
• Familiarity with anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Ability to assess patients' conditions and make critical decisions in high-pressure situations
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of patients

Skills

• Excellent patient assessment skills to quickly evaluate the severity of injuries or illnesses
• Proficient in administering basic life support techniques, including CPR and first aid
• Knowledge of medical equipment operation and maintenance
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals in a compassionate manner
• Strong problem-solving skills to make quick decisions in emergency situations
