## Description

**The “Seasonal Golf Course Maintenance 2” position is a seasonal (May – September), full-time position. Responsible for the daily maintenance and proper set-up of White Pines Golf Club.**

# **DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**

• **Basic maintenance and set-up of White Pines Golf Club’s golf courses and landscaped areas,** **Including; daily mowing of turf, raking of bunkers, trash collection and general clean-up of property.**
• **Assist in projects and improvements throughout the property.**
• **Assist in irrigation system repairs and maintenance.**
• **Participate in maintaining an overall; clean, SAFE and efficient shop/work area(s).**
• **Participate in the cleaning of equipment and tools.**
• **Observe daily conditions of golf course/property/equipment and effectively communicate with supervisors.**

## Qualifications

• **Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work.**
• **Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors and co-workers.**
• **Ability to effectively understand safety signage and instructions.**
• **General knowledge of golf and the expectation of course conditioning for guests.**
• **Must be willing to work in all weather conditions, barring dangerous conditions.**
• **Prior landscaping, or golf course maintenance experience *required*.**

• **JOB STATUS Full-time, Seasonal DEPARTMENT WPGC Grounds FSLA STATUS Non-Exempt**
• **SALARY $19/Hour**
• **HOURS** **40 hours/week, including 1 (4) hour weekend morning required, (1,000 hours maximum)**
