## Unarmed Security Guard

Culpepper & Associates is looking for a full and part time highly skilled, Licensed, **Unarmed Security Officer** for positions at the Brunswick, GA VA CBOC. The ideal candidates must:

\* Perform with limited or no supervision and carry out pre-determined and recurring tasks.

\* Be responsible for the protection and safety of the occupants and contents of the Brunswick VA CBOC.

\* Conduct random patrols throughout their shift.

\* Operate the magnetometer and security wand to process employees and visitors.

## Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to exercise independent judgment
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures
• Ability to prepare clear, legible reports
• Intermediate computer skills (wireless technology systems)
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Have at least two (2) years’ experience in contract or proprietary security and/or Military or Law Enforcement experience within the past five years.
• Be a US citizen and at least 21 years old.
• Be fluent in English with the ability to read and understand printed regulations, written orders and instructions.
• Possess excellent written/oral communication skills and maintain poise and self-control under stress.
• Be physically and mentally fit and capable of performing all normal emergency security duties and responsibilities.
• Not have a history of substance abuse or domestic violence or any criminal acts.
