Job Purpose

  • The Sharpview LPN at SOLUTIONS HEALTHCARE serves as a healthcare nursing home charge nurse, responsible for overseeing the health and well-being of residents. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and document residents' health status, including vital signs, symptoms, and any changes in condition.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosage and adherence to schedules.
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and specialists, to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with residents' families, providing updates on health status and addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with nursing practices and advancements in healthcare.
  • Promote a positive and caring environment for residents, fostering a sense of community and well-being.

## Qualifications

Required Education

  • Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Active Nursing License

Required Experience

  • Experience in monitoring and documenting residents' health in a healthcare setting
  • Previous experience as a charge nurse in a nursing home or similar environment
  • Proficiency in managing patient care plans and coordinating with healthcare teams

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Strong observational skills to assess and evaluate residents' health conditions
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to maintain accurate and detailed health records
  • Competence in using healthcare software and electronic medical records systems
  • Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
