VALVE REPAIR TECH TRAINEE

## Description
To assist the Valve Repair Department in all aspects of testing and repairing relief valves, in the shop or in the field, while maintaining a professional attitude.
\*Dis-Assembly of Valves.
\*Performs sandblasting.
\*Cleans Valves.
\*Inspects Valves.
\*Properly documents testing, repairing, and information from the nameplates on the relief valve.
\*Demonstrates excellent customer relations abilities.
\*Performs shop maintenance.
\*Performs re-machining or lapping.
\*Travels with mobile unit.
\*Climbs up to 100ft.
\*Lifts up to 75lbs.
\*Wears respirator when required.
## Qualifications
\*Ability to completely repair spring loaded relief valves.
\*Must have working knowledge of pilot relief valves.
\*Leadership Abilities.
\*Ability to accurately complete all documentation required.
\*Capability of sandblasting, cleaning, inspecting, disassembling, re-machining, and lapping valves.
\*Capable of lifting up to 75lbs.
\*Ability to physically and medically wear a respirator.
\*Ability to travel up to two weeks per month.
\*Must complete Mercer's Training Program.
