## Description
Glenwood is the leading provider of autism and behavioral health support and services in the State of Alabama. The Senior Residential Home Manager of the Dual Diagnosis Program will serve children and adults with both an autism and a mental illness disorder in our residential location. The dually diagnosed program within Glenwood is comprehensive and tailored for individuals confronting the unique challenges of a dual diagnosis of intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) alongside mental health conditions (MI). The Dual Diagnosis program is a highly structured 8-bed residential home, and may have individuals with IDD only or dually diagnosed with IDD/MI. This position will report to the Coordinator of Dual Diagnosis.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:**
- Development and implementation of goals, objectives, and plans of operation.
- Organizes the program to be consistent with the agency’s policies and philosophy of services
- Provides timely documentation of program operations consistent with licensing and contract standards.
- Assess the operation and needs of the program and provide clinical and administrative quality assurance.
- Recruit, select, and provide ongoing supervision of personnel.
- Responsible for the proper and planned use of physical and fiscal assets assigned for the use of the program.
- Responsible for day-to-day operations and client care of the program.

- Demonstrates a clear understanding of regulations applicable to client care
## Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a mental health service related field and two years’ experience in a direct service area
- Alternatively, three years’ experience in a mental health illness residential setting
- One to two years’ management experience.
- Professional Licensure or Certification preferred
- Must be able to complete required background checks and required training.
