**JOB TITLE:** Commercial Custodian - Part Time

**EMPLOYER:** Level Seven Commercial Cleaning

**CLIENT SITE:** Clayton County Public Schools campus

**EMPLOYMENT TYPE:** Part-Time, approx. 4 hours/day (school-calendar schedule) typical shift 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

**REPORTS TO:** Commercial Cleaning Lead; Assistant Operations Manager, Operations Manager, Senior Operations Manager

**SUMMARY**

This position provides focused daytime cleaning support at a Clayton County Public Schools campus during peak breakfast and lunch periods. Attention to detail and a positive attitude are a must. The right person is punctual, thorough but fast, and eager to learn.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

• Adheres to the company's safety policies, operational procedures, and service standards.
• Responds to direction from the Commercial Cleaning Lead and completes tasks as assigned.
• Reports repairs and replacements as needed when encountered during service provision.
• Breakfast trash collection.
• Lunch-period cleanup and turnover, including table and surface wiping.
• Trash removal and liner replacement in dining and multipurpose areas.
• Sweeping and spot mopping of dining areas.
• Restroom inspection, cleaning, and restocking during shift.
• Spill and accident response.
• Upkeep of entrances, hallways, and other high-traffic areas during shift.
• Monitors consumable inventory and communicates re-order needs.

• The following requirements apply in addition to the requirements above.

• Must pass a Clayton County Public Schools background check prior to being assigned to any Clayton County school campus, and must maintain clearance for the duration of the assignment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, with school staff and administration, and to respond promptly to safety and emergency instructions while on campus.

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**

• Commercial cleaning and disinfecting experience a plus.
• Experience in school cleaning is a plus.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**

• Frequently required to stand.
• Frequently required to walk.
• Frequently required to sit.
• Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.
• Frequently works around cleaning chemicals.
• While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds/frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds/continually lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.

• Pressure washers, ride-on floor scrubbers, and/or carpet and flooring maintenance equipment.
