**Make a difference!** - Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale is looking for responsible, reliable, and caring adults who are committed to making a positive impact on the great futures of our kids and teens.

**Your Role:**

Under the direction of our Sports & Fitness Coordinators, volunteer coaches help support Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale's sports program by showing our members the importance of staying active and healthy!

• Provide instruction and practice sports with our Club members (the kids and teens in our program)
• Provide great experiences to Club members.
• Provide all youth with basic instructions of the sport.
• Provide practice in a way that all youth are able to participate.
• Support our staffs' efforts to create fun and safe experiences for kids.
• Work as part of a great volunteer team.
• Possess the ability to interact and work well with others.
• Seek out the help of the staff if there are any issues or concerns.

**Total Time Commitment:**

• **Hours:** Monday - Friday evenings and Saturday mornings/afternoons
• **Length of assignment:** 2 Days per week, for 8 weeks (varies by sports season)

Practices are 1 hour Monday - Thursday, depending on the Branch.
Games are 1 hour either on Friday evenings or Saturday mornings/afternoons.

• A passion for the Boys & Girls Clubs vision and mission.
• A passion for creating safe and fun experiences for kids.
• Must engage in mandatory volunteer trainings and acknowledge our policies.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and reference check process.
• Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
• Must be able to remain alert and energetic for long periods of time.
• May be asked to serve as a chaperone for field trips.
