**Full Time Physical Therapist**

## We are seeking an experienced and passionate Physical Therapist to provide exceptional patient care in Southwest Florida’s Comprehensive Pain Treatment Center, Jaffe Sports Medicine, a [PartnerCare](http://www.partnercare.com/) affiliated company. Our practice blends rehabilitation medicine, pain specialist and therapeutic services all under one roof for our patients. Leading them down the road to recovery, making it smooth and perfectly coordinated.

## At [Jaffe Sports Medicine](https://jaffesportsmedicine.com/services/physical-therapy-sports-medicine/), we provide our patients with customized physical therapy treatment plans that will attempt to relieve pain and promote quick and efficient healing. We offer patient education in physical therapy techniques, fitness, general wellness, and ergonomics.

## As a Physical Therapist on our team, you must have passion for physical therapy, helping patients, as well as personal and professional growth goals. You will work as part of the core care team to ensure the patient has the best possible experience and outcomes.

• Documenting patient treatment and progress, appropriately in the medical record. Documentation must meet peer review requirements.
• Review patient documents to measure the effectiveness and quality of patient care.
• Identifying patient care needs; providing information to the patient and care team; recommending options and courses of action; implementing physical therapy directives.
• Performing therapeutic procedures by administering manual exercises; instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities, such as non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily living activities; and in using supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, and prostheses.
• Maintains legal and accreditation compliance by adhering to policies and procedures concerning federal, state, and local regulations, and PartnerCare standards.

## Qualifications

**Education and Experience:**

• Associates Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university or technical institution
• Current physical therapist license
• At least three years of experience as a physical therapist
• Knowledge of legal, medical, and accreditation compliance
• Alertness and careful attention to detail is required to avoid injury. Must be able to deal with stressful and/or complex situations
• Current physical therapist license

**Physical Requirements:**

• Must be able to physically work with the patient to ensure exercises are performed correctly
