Journey Caregiver

## Description

The Caregiver is responsible for providing personal assistance and routine daily care and services related to the residents in accordance with the Resident Care Profile, and as may be directed by the Executive Director and Health Services Director in order to enhance the residents’ independence and quality of life. This position is at a WellQuest Living community. In addition, the Caregiver is responsible for assisting residents with recreational activities to help maintain their optimum level of functioning. **Reports to:**Health Services Director or Journey Care Director or Journey Program Director, as assigned.

## Qualifications

**Ability and Experience requirements:**

• Must have criminal record clearance.
• Must attend required amount of training programs each year.
• Must have a current basic First Aid Card.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
