Shipping Associate I

## Description

• Material handling of steel products
• Build pallets for shipping and processing orders
• Utilize technology for processing jobs and communication (Clocking, Inventory, Job Completion, ShipHawk)
• Load and unload all forms of trucking/shipping
• Assist in training employees in the work center with current knowledge base
• Mandatory overtime when business conditions require it
• Adherence to the attendance policy
• All other duties as required
• Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday - 8:00am-4:30pm

## Qualifications

• **Experience in a similar role required**
• Experience in material handling of steel products strongly preferred
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work well with others
• Excellent organizational skills for maintaining inventory levels and stock management
• Problem-solving skills for resolving shipping discrepancies and customer issues
• Applicants must pass a pre-employment physical, drug test, and background check as a prerequisite of employment
