E-Coat Operator

## Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable E-Coat Operator to join our team at Minnesota Industrial Coatings.
**Key Responsibilities**

• Operate and monitor e-coating equipment to apply protective coatings to surfaces according to specifications.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure proper functioning and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the coating
• Perform routine maintenance on e-coating equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel for repairs and upgrades when needed.
• Conduct regular quality checks on coated products to ensure they meet industry standards and customer specifications.
• Identify and address any defects or inconsistencies in the coating, adjusting as necessary.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Identify potential safety hazards and take appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
• Maintain accurate records of coating parameters, process data, and quality control results.
• Generate reports on production output, quality metrics, and equipment performance.
• Perform daily and weekly PM’s on e-coating equipment
• Assist with other areas of production and other projects as assigned by Production Team Leader

**Qualifications**

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-5 years’ experience in E-Coating or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment

**Skills and Competencies**

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of e-coating principles, techniques, and equipment operation
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality control and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes
• Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
• Ability to work in production facility with fluctuating temperatures and humidity levels
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team

**Physical Requirements**

• Ability to lift 40 lbs. on a consistent basis
• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours
• Excellent hand/eye coordination
• Demonstrated ability to effectively use power tools
• Good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
• Consistently wear personal protective equipment
• Ability to work in production facility with fluctuating temperatures and humidity levels

The expected base pay range for this position is between $19.00 and $24.00 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
