Gateway Fiber is seeking a highly analytical and financially driven **Product, Pricing and Commercial Strategist** to lead the development of product, pricing, customer economics, and go-to-market strategies that drive sustainable subscriber growth and profitability. Gateway Fiber is a locally owned and operated internet service provider on a mission to positively impact communities through better internet. Gateway is creating a leading, national fiber-to-the-home platform. With the support of its financial sponsor CBRE Investment Management, Gateway plans to reach 500,000 homes and businesses with its service over the next several years. Gateway provides faster, more reliable internet with a simple pricing model and industry-leading customer service.

**Expected Outcomes and Requirements:**

This role is ideal for a strategic leader with a background in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), Revenue Growth Management (RGM), category management, commercial analytics, corporate strategy, management consulting, telecommunications, or other consumer-focused industries. The successful candidate will combine strong business acumen with exceptional financial modeling capabilities to identify growth opportunities, evaluate investments, optimize pricing and packaging, and provide data-driven recommendations to executive leadership.

The Strategist will serve as a key advisor to the executive team by translating customer insights, market intelligence, competitive dynamics, and financial analysis into actionable business strategies that accelerate growth and maximize return on investment.

The Product, Pricing & Commercial Strategy is expected to contribute in the following significant ways

**Commercial Growth & Portfolio Strategy**

  • Lead strategic analysis of Gateway Fiber's Residential, Business, and MDU portfolios to identify opportunities for profitable growth.
  • Evaluate product, pricing, customer, and market performance to guide investment decisions.
  • Assess customer needs, competitive dynamics, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Develop recommendations that optimize revenue, market share, customer lifetime value, and profitability.
  • Conduct strategic analyses to support long-term business planning and commercial decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to expand and strengthen Gateway Fiber's position within existing and adjacent markets.

**Pricing & Revenue Growth Strategy**

  • Own pricing, packaging, promotional, and discounting strategies across all business segments.
  • Analyze customer behavior, competitive positioning, price elasticity, and willingness-to-pay to optimize revenue and profitability.
  • Develop pricing frameworks that balance subscriber growth, retention, market share, and margin objectives.
  • Evaluate promotional effectiveness and recommend improvements to maximize return on commercial investments.
  • Lead data-driven initiatives that improve revenue growth and commercial performance.

**Financial Modeling & Customer Economics**

  • Serve as the organization's leader in commercial financial analysis and strategic modeling.
  • Build and maintain sophisticated financial models supporting strategic decision-making across Residential, Business, and MDU businesses.
  • Develop and analyze metrics including:
  • Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
  • Customer Lifetime Value (CLV)
  • Churn and retention economics
  • Product and segment profitability
  • Market expansion opportunities
  • Pricing and promotion effectiveness
  • Subscriber growth scenarios
  • Return on Investment (ROI)
  • Customer segment economics
  • Develop forecasts and financial scenarios to support short- and long-term planning.
  • Quantify risks, opportunities, and expected returns associated with strategic initiatives.
  • Create executive-level business cases supporting investments, pricing strategies, partnerships, and growth opportunities.

**Customer Segmentation & Market Intelligence**

  • Lead customer segmentation efforts to identify acquisition, retention, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Analyze customer behaviors, demographics, profitability, and market trends to determine high-value growth segments.
  • Develop segment-specific growth strategies across Residential, Business, and MDU customer bases.
  • Lead competitive intelligence efforts to monitor competitor pricing, promotions, product offerings, expansion activities, and industry trends.
  • Translate customer and market insights into actionable strategic recommendations for executive leadership.

**Growth, Monetization & Market Expansion Strategy**

  • Identify and evaluate new revenue streams, business models, and commercial opportunities that support long-term enterprise growth.
  • Assess monetization opportunities across products, services, channels, partnerships, and customer segments.
  • Develop strategies to increase customer value, improve profitability, and diversify revenue sources.
  • Evaluate geographic expansion opportunities, underserved markets, and emerging customer segments.
  • Build financial models and business cases supporting market entry and expansion decisions.
  • Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analyses to evaluate strategic alternatives and investment priorities.
  • Recommend investment strategies that maximize long-term shareholder value and business performance.

**Strategic Partnerships**

  • Evaluate partnership opportunities that enhance customer value, improve acquisition economics, expand market reach, or generate new revenue streams.
  • Develop financial analyses and business cases for prospective partnerships, strategic alliances, and commercial relationships.
  • Assess partnership performance and identify opportunities to maximize strategic and financial impact.
  • Partner with executive leadership to prioritize partnership investments aligned with company growth objectives.

**Go-to-Market & Commercialization Strategy**

  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience, and Operations teams to develop go-to-market strategies for product launches, pricing changes, market expansions, and commercial initiatives.
  • Identify target customer segments, channel strategies, and commercialization opportunities.
