Vocal Private Lesson Instructor (Part-Time)

## Description

Bullis School seeks an experienced and engaging **Vocal Instructor** to teach in-person private voice lessons on our campus for students in Grades 3–12. This is a part-time, contract position with flexible scheduling (2-5 weekdays per week), and instructors have the opportunity to create their own teaching schedule in coordination with student availability.

**Schedule:**

• Lower & Middle School: After school hours
• Upper School: During study halls or after school

## Duties & Qualifications
**Key Qualifications:**

• Proven experience teaching voice to students of multiple ages and skill levels
• Strong foundation in **classical, musical theatre, and contemporary** vocal styles
• Proficiency in the **International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA)** and **foreign language diction**
• Dependable, communicative, and student-centered teaching approach
• Ability to manage variable schedules and administrative functions

**Additional Details:**

• **In-person lessons take place on the Bullis School campus**
• Lessons follow the Bullis academic calendar
• Two 10-lesson sessions per year
• Teachers are **independent contractors**, paid directly by families (financial aid available for qualifying students)
