## Job Overview

Madden’s is currently seeking seasonal **Food Runners**.

## Duties and Responsibilities

⎯ Assures that all material used by server is clean and ready for daily operation.

⎯ Fills and re-fills water glasses and removes any place settings not being used.

⎯ Clears dishes located in front of guest upon completion of course.

⎯ Clears and resets tables when guests leave, to include but not limited to: changes tablecloth,

brushes chairs, places chairs at table, replaces silverware and glassware, and replaces napkins.

⎯ Assists the server when needed.

⎯ Assists the servers by checking food tickets and delivering food to tables.

⎯ Keeps workstations well stocked of items and ingredients.

⎯ Clean workstations, takes out trash, and vacuums the dining room.

⎯ Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

⎯ Regular and reliable attendance.

⎯ Performs other duties required.

Skills and Abilities

• ⎯ Great decision-making skills.

• ⎯ The Ability to multi-task.
• ⎯ Time management.

Education/Experience

• ⎯ Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or
• equivalent combination of education and experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not require any supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

Work is performed in dining outlets, sometimes outside.

Physical Demands

• Primarily standing or walking for prolonged periods of time. Must have the ability to stand, walk, talk
• and hear. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift trays of food/drinks sometimes
• repeatedly.

Expected Hours of Work

Variable Schedule with nights, weekends and holidays required.
