**Key Responsibilities**

  • Perform laboratory tests on product samples following established methods and procedures.
  • Clearly document test results and actions taken
  • Operate, monitor, and calibrate laboratory equipment
  • Work closely with production staff for solutions and dispositions of held product in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance and Food Safety procedures
  • Responsible for testing appearance, piece count and texture of finished product

## Requirements

  • Basic Math skills
  • Ability to use measuring devices like scales, thermometers and moisture meters.
  • Detail oriented
  • Good documentation and reporting skills.
  • Effectively communicate (read, write, speak) in English
  • Familiar with GMPs and Food Safety practices.
  • Effectively use a personal computer/tablet and associated applications.
