Press Operator Assistant

## Job Description

**Day Shift:** 5:30 AM-5:30 PM, Sunday-Tuesday, every other Saturday **OR** Wednesday-Friday, every other Saturday

**Night Shift:** 5:30 PM-5:30 AM, Sunday-Tuesday, every other Saturday **OR** Wednesday-Friday, every other Saturday

Job Duties

• Read and understand work orders and bring proper materials to press
• Assist with press change-overs by changing inks, gears, sleeves, clean plates and sleeves
• Check viscosity manually, as well as set up and troubleshoot automatic ink viscometer
• Fill solvent drums, change out ink/solvents totes
• Change out scrap boxes when full
• Load and unload rolls from both rewind and unwind by job tag and inventory tag
• Maintain ink room housekeeping, dump ink waste, correctly label and stock ink

## Education and/or Experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to do basic math
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for long periods on hard surfaces
• Ability to differentiate colors
