***What does a Therapist at ACC do?***
- Provide crisis intervention, individual, group, conjoint and family therapy.
- Carries a client caseload not to exceed the appropriate number set by the Program Coordinator.
- Works with people from various socio-economic and cultural backgrounds in a treatment capacity.
- Assess, formulate and implement clinical assessments, treatment plans.
- Responsible for clinical case record-keeping for each case assigned, in compliance with funding source requirements and procedural policies.
- Attends regular clinical staff meetings and supervision for discussion of treatment of client cases.
- Participates in in-service programs and seminars to increase skill level and improve service delivery to clients.
- Maintain productivity of direct services at 60%.
- Complete Peer Reviews and work in collaboration with the Quality Department to ensure the standards of the agency
- Participates in 24 hours of Child Specific continuing education training per fiscal year, if applicable.
## Qualifications
***What do we need from you?***
**Individual must possess a Master's Degree in Social Work or equivalent degree in a field related to mental health from an accredited college or university.**
**Current registration to practice clinical work from the State of Michigan Department of Licensing is required (LLMSW/LMSW/LLPC/LPC/LLP/LP).Must have at least one year of experience in the field of mental health or human services.**
- Completion of a background check.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Must be able to enter and retrieve data using computer systems, systems applications, and other office equipment.
