As a **Part-Time CPR Instructor**, you will play a vital role in equipping YMCA staff and community members with lifesaving skills while fostering genuine connections, delivering exceptional hospitality, and creating a safe, positive, and enriching learning environment where every interaction matters.

• **Foster Community and Inclusion**
• Create welcoming and engaging learning experiences that build confidence, encourage participation, and strengthen connections among YMCA staff and community members.
• **Ensure Training Excellence**
• Plan and facilitate high-quality CPR, First Aid, AED, Lifeguarding, and safety-related trainings that meet YMCA and certifying agency standards.
• **Maintain Safety and Standards**
• Promote a culture of safety by enforcing training protocols, maintaining certification requirements, and ensuring training equipment and supplies are clean, operational, and ready for use.
• **Training Programs:**We are currently looking for individuals to train on CPR, First Aid and AED and Lifeguarding Certification through the Red Cross and a Babysitting program.
• **Training Locations:**Trainings may be offered throughout Orange County, including:
• Mission Viejo
• Laguna Niguel
• Fullerton
• Huntington Beach
• Newport Beach
• Tustin
• San Gabriel Valley

**Minimum Qualifications**

• **Minimum Age**
• 20+ years old
• **Education & Experience**
• Minimum of one year of experience as a trainer in CPR, First Aid, AED, or Lifeguarding certification courses
• Experience facilitating group trainings and instructing participants in a classroom setting preferred
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to travel to training locations throughout Orange County
• **Certifications**
• Red Cross First Aid, CPR, and AED Instructor Certification
• Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor Certification
• Certifications can be paid for by the YMCA
