The YMCA of Orange County is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. We are actively seeking highly engaged, intentional, and service-oriented individuals for part-time Soccer Instructor positions.

The Soccer Instructor will help to create an inclusive and engaging experience while promoting programs that encourage health and wellness within our community.

**Work Schedule:**Candidates must be available to work Wednesdays from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Additional opportunities to assist with other sports-related activities and tasks may also be available.

**Purpose and Impact:**

• **Ensure Facility Readiness:**
• Inspect, prepare, and maintain sports fields and equipment to create a safe, organized, and enjoyable environment for all participants.
• **Facilitate Participant Experience:**
• Guide participants through registration and check-in, manage program paperwork, and deliver clear communication of program details. Officiate games and maintain accurate scoring when assigned.
• **Inspire Positive Engagement:**
• Champion fairness and inclusion by supervising activities, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming environment where every participant feels valued and supported.
• **Build Positive Connections:**
• Engage with participants and families to foster a friendly atmosphere, answer questions, and share information that enhances their overall experience.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

• **Minimum Age:**Must be 16 years with a valid work permit
• **Experience & Skills:**
• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Must have experience playing or coaching soccer.
• Must be able to work with children ages 3 to 15 years old.
• Excellent communication, organization, and planning skills.
• **Certifications:**
• First Aid and CPR certifications required (training provided and paid for by the YMCA).
