Seasonal Ice Cream Stand Manager

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a motivated and responsible individual to lead our ice cream stand operations for our soft launch, starting in late August and running through the end of October. As the Stand Manager, you will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, handle staff scheduling, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain a clean, efficient, and fun environment for both employees and customers. The stand is planned to be open Tuesday to Sunday, 11:00am to 7:00pm.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Manage day-to-day operations of the ice cream stand
• Supervise and schedule seasonal staff, ensuring adequate coverage
• Train new employees on food safety, customer service, and POS systems
• Monitor inventory and place orders for supplies as needed
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and occasional complaints professionally
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stand at all times
• Prepare and serve ice cream and other menu items during peak hours
• Manage daily financial reporting

## Qualifications
**Qualifications:**

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Previous experience in food service or retail management preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
• Basic math and computer skills
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

**Physical Requirements:**

• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Comfortable working in food service environment
