Field Attendant - Cannon Park Softball Complex

This position will be responsible for performing various daily, cyclical, and routine facility management functions. **Essential Duties & Requirements:**

• Oversee daily operations of Cannon Park Softball Complex, including opening and closing procedures during softball league nights and weekend tournament play.
• Set up ballfields for league and tournament play; prepare scoresheets and game balls for umpires. (Park District Softball League night only)
• Maintain field conditions by raking fields before and after game play.
• Ensure cleanliness of concession areas, sitting/bleacher areas, restrooms, and maintenance garage, by taking out trash
• Assist patrons and renter groups with concerns and uphold safety policies in compliance with District regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and perform additional duties as assigned.

**Hours/Schedule:**

• 10-18 hours per week - April to October
• Shifts vary based on weekend tournament game schedules
• Mondays (softball league night)
• Friday (evenings), Saturday and Sunday - Day and evening shifts available

**Pay Rate:**

• $15-$16 per hour

## Qualifications
**Qualifications:**

• Minimum age of 18 is required
• High School Graduate or GED
• CPR and AED certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
• Basic knowledge of tasks involved in the general upkeep of athletic grounds and fields is preferred, but not required
