## Description

**Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future.**

**This role requires residency in South Florida. Candidates located outside this area will not be considered. Relocation, if applicable, is at the candidate’s own expense.**

**This position is based fully onsite in Miramar, FL or Davie, FL. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance and be available to work onsite 5 days per week.**

**SUMMARY:** The SQL Developer is responsible for developing SQL databases and writing applications to interface with SQL databases. The position will be designing tables, storing procedures, views, and functions.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:**

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Development of high-quality database solutions.
• Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL.
• Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements.
• Research required data and recommend new queries.
• Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables.
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
• Develop procedures and scripts for data migration.
• Provide timely scheduled management reporting.
• Investigate exceptions regarding asset movements.
• Other duties as assigned.

## Qualifications
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:**

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• OR an additional 3 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree.
• 4 years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role.
• Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming.
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server.
• Good knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.
• 3 years of experience with Transparent Data Encryption. (TDE)
• 3 years of experience with SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Analysis Services.

**PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:**

• 5+ years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role.
• Familiarity with the practical application of NoSQL\NewSQL databases.
