Share your sunshine by visiting with Hospice patients who are often lonely and without the comfort of immediate family.**Our patients benefit so much from warm smiles, pleasant conversations, and gentle hand holding. It's easy to share music/nature sounds on your smart phone, read books/poetry, play guitar/Sing, watch TV, join a patient for dinner or just provide a compassionate presence.** We provide free comprehensive training and support along your journey. Let people know they matter. Your smile and presence will mean so much! to our patients and families!**Please note: This is an UNPAID position as a VOLUNTEER.**

**You can:**Make a difference in your community, be part of the hospice team, and enjoy a flexible volunteer schedule. A few hours a week can make a big difference to someone nearing the end of life!

**Requirements:**

• 18 years old.
• Stay connected for **one year or more**
• Volunteer at least **4 hours per month.**
• **Complete our Free Comprehensive Online training** that is personally enriching and is focused on personal death awareness and hospice philosophy.

• **\*\*For your own self-care, we recommend waiting a year after a significant loss of a close family member.**
