## Hospice Veteran to Veteran Volunteer

***Are you a Retired Military Veteran able to visit 2x a month?***

**Constellation Health Services’ Hospice Program is seeking military veterans. Our Veteran Volunteers present a blanket and certificate to the veterans they visit. Veterans have a unique ability to connect with fellow veterans through shared experience, understanding, and respect.**

Your presence can offer comfort, companionship, and dignity to patients and families during an important time in their lives.

**Requirements:**

• Age: At least 18 years old.
• Time: Visit 2x a month. Ability to commit for one year to our program.
• Completed application.
• Orientation: Approximately 20 hours of online training. Focusing on safety, confidentiality, personal death awareness and hospice philosophy.
• Complete health and background checks.
• Driver’s License and auto insurance

• Your experience, compassion, and service can bring comfort to veterans and families in our care.
• As this is a volunteer position, there is no compensation other than our gratitude.
