About The Role

## Description

Job Purpose

  • The Receiver at Cescaphe Event Group is responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient receipt of goods and materials necessary for the successful execution of events. This part-time position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the event operations team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Ensure all received goods are in good condition and report any discrepancies or damages to the appropriate department.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of received items and update inventory systems accordingly.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any issues related to deliveries.
  • Assist in the organization and storage of received goods in designated areas.
  • Collaborate with the event operations team to ensure timely availability of materials for upcoming events.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding health and safety standards during the receiving process.
  • Provide support in inventory audits and cycle counts as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.

## Qualifications

Required Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Experience

  • Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the events or hospitality industry.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items, up to 50 pounds, safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and vendors.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
