OPERATIONS WORKER

Job Purpose

• The Operations Worker at Cescaphe Event Group is responsible for supporting the seamless execution of events by performing a variety of operational tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring that all logistical aspects of events are handled efficiently, contributing to the overall success and reputation of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring all equipment and materials are in place and functioning as required.
• Coordinate with event coordinators and other team members to ensure all operational needs are met promptly and effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces before, during, and after events.
• Operate and troubleshoot event equipment, such as audio-visual systems, to ensure smooth operation during events.
• Monitor inventory levels of operational supplies and communicate needs for replenishment to the appropriate departments.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and guests, addressing any operational concerns or requests in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests.
• Collaborate with other departments to support the overall objectives and goals of Cescaphe Event Group.

## Qualifications

Required Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in operations or event management
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the hospitality or event industry

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting, moving, or setting up equipment and materials
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules
