**Step Drill-Level 1**
**Qualifications:**

• **Able to understand instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form**
• **Problem solving skills involving several concrete variables in or from standardized situations**
• **Perform basic functions of arithmetic: add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure**
• **Perform reading, writing and speaking at a basic level**
• **Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills**
• **Must be able to use a micrometer and other measuring tools, have the ability to monitor quality and work with close tolerances**
• **Understanding drill sizes is essential**

**Daily Responsibilities:**

• Setup and run the machine with maximum efficiency and productivity
• Operate machine using measuring tools
• Runs specialty work
• Understanding of work tolerances
• Monitoring work quality
• Keep tooling and work organized
• Reading and signing of paperwork

**Physical Requirements:**

• 100% standing/sitting (employees preference)
• 5 -10% shifting or bending
• Lifting up to 25 lbs.
