Delivery Driver

## Description

Make up to $18/ hour based on experience. Scheudle is Tuesday - Saturday. NO CDL Required. This is for a 26' box truck.

Applicants should be clean cut and able to communicate courteously & professionally with customers. This individual must be physically fit and capable of carrying and moving furniture into homes, up staircases, etc. Drivers and assistants are both needed.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**

• Responsible for the truck
• Responsible for orderly paperwork
• Keeping up with tools and gear on truck.
• Reporting all problems to the store and their supervisor as they arise.
• Assembling furniture and all aspects of in home delivery.
• Maintaining proper appearance and keeping with the dress code
• Making calls to customer prior to delivery.
• Proper loading and unloading of the truck. Making sure of proper tie down methods and that care is taken with pick up or returned items.
• Protecting the customer's property at all times

## Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Drivers must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Drivers must have a clean driving record.
• In good health and physically able move heavy objects in and out of tight spaces.
• Some logistical experience and familiarity with area is a plus
• Some delivery experience and operation of large box trucks needed.
• Good communication skills
• Drug test and background check required
