**Position Summary:**

As the Integrative Wellness Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations across multiple specialties. You’ll support providers, coordinate patient flow, and manage administrative tasks that require a strong grasp of healthcare protocols — all while delivering a high standard of patient service.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist in patient intake by recording medical histories and vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures, including X-rays and EKGs, under supervision.
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage phone inquiries with professionalism.
  • Support healthcare providers during examinations and treatment sessions.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and well-maintained clinical environment.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Work flexible hours, including opening and closing shifts and Saturdays as required.

**This role involves a significant amount of computer-based work**, including electronic health record (EHR) documentation, patient data entry, digital scheduling, audits, and reporting. Strong computer skills and attention to detail are essential to succeed in this position.

**Qualifications:**

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a medical office or clinical support role preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
  • Familiarity with multi-specialty or integrated healthcare settings preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency with EHR/EMR systems and scheduling software
  • Medical terminology knowledge required
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
