We have an immediate opening for a ***Mid-Level Civil/Environmental Engineer in our Folsom, California office***to support our investigation/remediation and/or stormwater practices***.*** Come join our team!

**Responsibilities:**

  • Support and lead stormwater-related projects.
  • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic evaluations of stormwater runoff.
  • Design stormwater treatment facilities, pump stations, and conveyance infrastructure and infiltration systems.
  • Prepare grading and site improvement plan sets for permitting and construction.
  • Prepare documents such as proposals, plans (e.g., Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans [SWPPPs]), and technical reports (e.g., Exceedance Response Action [ERA] Reports and Water Quality Based Corrective Action [WQBCA] Reports).
  • Conduct engineering feasibility analyses.
  • Assist in the collection, evaluation and management of stormwater quality data.
  • Conduct industrial and construction site assessments.
  • Develop and/or recommend stormwater best management practices (BMPs) to reduce pollutants in stormwater discharges.
  • Participate in research and development of innovative stormwater quality treatment technologies.
  • Provide permitting and compliance support to our clients.
  • Collaborate with technical experts, project managers, colleagues, and subcontractors.
  • Apply remedial technologies through production of engineering designs, permitting, contractor and equipment procurement, construction planning and oversight, and system operation, maintenance, and monitoring
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and analytical laboratories and independently perform subcontractor oversight

## Qualifications
**Qualifications/Requirements:**

  • A Bachelors degree or higher in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or related field is required; a Masters degree is preferred.
  • Between 5 and 12 years of relevant professional work experience is preferred.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) is required; however, Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.
  • Understanding or interest in stormwater/wastewater regulations and related permit requirements
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and organize complex datasets
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid drivers license and clear driving record
  • Ability to travel domestically to perform fieldwork
