About The Role
## Description
- **Safe Transportation:** Equipment, materials and water/oilfield fluid hauling between source points, pits, tanks and disposal sites, often on rough terrain. Maintain proper control and handling of hoses, valves and transfer equipment.
- **Loading/Unloading:** Operating pumps, hoses, and mechanical equipment to load/unload liquids or materials.
- **Inspections & Maintenance:** Performing thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to detect malfunctions, damage or repair needs.
- **Safety Compliance & Documentation:** Maintaining accurate electronic logbooks in compliance with DOT regulations, ensuring compliance with DOT hours of service and safety policies. Adhering to strict, site-specific safety regulations and protocols.
- **Field Support:** Communication with crews and field management to coordinate loads and routing. Following all site safety rules, including PPE requirements and environmental standards. As requested, assist water transfer teams with hose setup or minor labor tasks when needed.
## Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License with Tanker and Hazmat Endorsement, additional endorsements a plus
- Previous CDL oilfield experience is preferred with specific skills in driving manual transmissions, with a minimum of 2-3 years of CDL driving experience
- Knowledge of oilfield water transfer operations, loading procedures, and fluid types is a plus
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and, if required, in high-intensity, high-demand environments
- Have a clean MVR, be able to pass a background, DOT drug and alcohol screening, have a clean past employer safety performance record and pass a driving road test upon hire.
- Able to meet insurability standards to drive company vehicles
- Possess outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Long hours, often 12+ hours per shift, sometimes including nights and/or weekends, while working in remote, off-road and dusty locations.
- Must be detail oriented due to the necessity of safety, take instruction and thrive in a team environment, while also able to work independently
- Have experience with on-duty, off-duty ELD systems
- Clear knowledge and understanding of all FMCSA/DOT regulations for CDL Drivers
- Be able to write and communicate in English
