**Pay Scale:** QP: $23.07/hr.-$24.03/hr.

**Salary will depend on level of education and experience.**

**Summary:**

Under indirect supervision, provides, oversees, and/or administers a wide range of psychosocial evaluation/assessment, diagnostic, counseling therapy, crisis intervention services in a high-intensity clinical environment which requires a high degree of independent decision-making. May be asked to lead, or train lower level counselors, students and/or interns engaged in therapeutic patient care activities, as appropriate to the individual position.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

• Provides assessments and therapeutic activities in both individual and group settings and subsequent paperwork.
• Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning, case support activities
• Provides crisis intervention consultation to all members of the team
• Participates in peer review process for therapists
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor

**Special Attributes:** Strong psychosocial, clinical assessment skills. Minimal supervision regarding use of time, able to prioritize work assignments. Ability to communicate effectively with professionals and clients/families. Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations.

**Education and/or Experience:** Must be aLicensed Recreational therapist, with a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy or Therapeutic recreation.
