• **Pay Scale**
• RN: $26.42-$32/hr.
• LPN: $24-$28/hr.
• **Summary:**
• Provides nursing services to the medical unit.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

• Provides medication evaluation, medication checks, calls in prescriptions, obtains samples, sometimes may provide individual, group and family therapy and subsequent paperwork.
• Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning, case support activities
• Provides crisis intervention consultation to all members of the team
• Participates in peer review process for therapists
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor

**Special Attributes:** Strong psychosocial, clinical assessment skills. Minimal supervision regarding use of time, able to prioritize work assignments. Ability to communicate effectively with professions and clients/families. Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations.

**Education and/or Experience

• RN:** Graduation from a four-year state accredited school of nursing and one year of experience in psychiatric nursing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• **LPN:** Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and prefer one year of experience in nursing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
